Among 845 job boards spread across 162 countries registered in our database at Jobboard Finder, one of the latest is Everjobs. The newborn website gathers job boards in 8 different countries across Africa and Asia: Everjobs Sri LankaJumia Jobs Cameroon, Everjobs Cambodia, JumiaDeals Uganda, Everjobs Ivory Coast and Everjobs Bangladesh.

Launched in March 2015, Everjobs wants to become the leading job portal in emerging markets. The platform provides a range of job offers from small local enterprises to multinational corporations, from entry level roles for graduate students to top level positions.

“We see an immense opportunity to create a convenient job portal for economies on the rise in Asia and Africa. Everjobs challenges the status quo in these countries for job seekers as well as employers. We believe that every individual has a unique set of skills and personality. All it takes is the right match for them to flourish”, states Co-founder Ronald Schuurs.

“We aim to facilitate the growing job market that results from a rapidly growing economy by getting involved with the local communities and understanding their needs”, explains Eric Lauer, Co-founder and Managing Director at Everjobs Africa.

About Everjobs Cameroon he adds, “Everjobs wants to create equal opportunities for all Cameroonians and strives to tackle recruitment biases that hinder the scope of diversity within companies […] Cameroon is currently experiencing high rates of youth unemployment despite having a highly qualified workforce, and we can see the detrimental effect this has on students we meet every day. At Everjobs we believe each individual has a unique set of skills and all it takes is the right match for them to succeed. Our mission is to promote transparency in the labor market”.

Backed by German internet company Rocket Internet, Everjobs can expect to benefit from the network of companies in the Asia Pacific Internet Group (APACIG) and the Africa Internet Group (AIG).
