Jobboard Finder’s opinion
Summary: Launched in 2007, Post Job Free is a US aggregator founded by Dennis Gorelik. Job offers are mostly from and for the US, but it is a global job board. In fact, of the 462 910 visits a month, only half come from the US. As for social media, you might be surprised to know there are 138 followers on LinkedIn, 75 followers on YouTube and 3 207 on Twitter (for a feed of offers).
Design: Like most aggregators, the design is minimalistic. There is a search engine for jobs or resumes (keywords and location) and that’s about it. In the listing, you have a Google-like colour scheme and display. The publication date, job title, company name, location and a snippet of the description are visible. If the application to the job offer is on a different website, an arrow appears next to “go to apply”. If not, you must send an email to the recruiter through the site.
The job board objective: PostJobFree doesn’t want money to be an issue for recruiting companies. For that reason, the entire concept revolve around free posting and access to resumes.
Recruiter observations: Recruiters can post for free. You don’t even need an account: you just simply create a job offers. There is also premium membership in order to see the full contact details of jobseekers on the site.
Jobseeker observations: Jobseekers don’t need an account to apply to job offers but they can upload their CV to the site. When applying to offers, you are either redirected or an e-mail box appears.
The job offers: There are thousands of job offers. Since you need a keyword to start your search, we cannot give an exact number.

Verdict: PostJobFree is a handy job board for anyone hoping to gain extra visibility. You can also browse CVs for free to see how many fit your position. The contact information is hidden though.
