On our blog we have already conducted few interviews with different professionals representing different functions in the job board industry. It is only natural for us to want to gain insight about what recruiters think about our Job Board Search Engine and how does it help them in their everyday tasks.

This week, we had the pleasure and the honour to speak with Magdalena Szumna, who is the owner of the HR Consulting firm « PRO-HR ». Magdalena shared with us her insights on her work as a recruiter and explained to us how she deals with cross-border recruitment.

About PRO-HR

PRO-HR was established in 2014 as a result of my personal career plan and a way to have work-life balance. PRO-HR is the answer to my clients’ need to have very close relation with consultant that will understand their culture and deliver to them premium service with full ownership of the process. PRO-HR is a boutique type of agency serving tailor made solutions for its clients.

International Recruitment

PRO-HR is based in Poland, Warsaw and runs recruitment processes for clients across Europe and Russia. My clients are mid-size fast growing companies from different industries e.g. logistic solutions, transport, FMCG.

Usually when looking for the candidates local jobboards are being used, for direct search / executive search social media / professional networks are the best source of candidates (e.g. Linkedin).

Your experience with JobBoard Finder

PRO-HR started cooperation with JobBoardFinder when had to post the ad at Greek jobsites. When searching for information / job boards rankings on Internet I found your website and thought that it’s the best solution for someone who is dealing with number of recruitments in different countries. I do not have to create several accounts on different website, remember logins / passwords and other problems when having multiple suppliers for same service.

Suggestions for us

Business is now very fast and requires immediate solutions and access. I would probably shorten time of publication as much as possible to be no longer than 24 hrs.

Trends in European e-recruitment market

European market is much differentiated and depends on country economics, employees habits. Still remote interviews via phone or skype are not common practice, but it is getting better.

Working as a recruiter?

The biggest satisfaction for a recruiter to find a matching candidate for the company, to see how he grows and develops and his professional career changed for the better.

I have always been very good listener and has good sense of people as I am open-minded person with great communication skills.
