Cadremploi unveils home page and logo redesign3 min read

First job site for executives and managers in France, Cadremploi was founded 25 years ago as part of group Figaro Classifieds. Last Thursday, on October 15, 2015, Cadremploi revealed its brand new home page and logo.

“Cadremploi was created in the 90’s after the merging of several recruitment agencies. First launched on Minitel, Cadremploi was later available online then went mobile with smartphones, tablets and more recently the Apple Watch”, says Managing Director Thibaut Gemignani.

As part of their 25^th birthday celebration, Cadremploi unveiled their home page and logo redesign to assert their presence in the online recruitment market for executives and managers.

“We emphasized the letter C that stands for ‘cadres’ i.e. executives in French, in order to reaffirm our positioning. Our new logo can now be recognized more easily on mobile devices”, explains Deputy CEO Pascal Lasserre. Indeed, the former logo emphasized the letter E for ‘emploi’ i.e. employment in French, which did not bring attention to the profiles and positions the job site targets.

To back up these two major releases, Cadremploi launches a TV & digital advertising campaign. The company is hoping to reach over 25 million people through their 10-second and 20-second TV spots that are going to be spread across 9 main French TV channels. The TV coverage will be completed by a digital print campaign in La Défense which is the first European business district located in Paris along with other print and online campaigns.

“Up until now, Cadremploi has been focusing on sports event sponsoring which is why such an advertising campaign is a first for us. With about 23 million reaches generated within the 25-49 age group, our new platform is here to help executives realize the answer lies within them! It’s about giving them the power to act and the right resources for their professional ambition”, concludes Valentine Monnier-Schnebelen, Marketing Director at Cadremploi.

The desktop version, unlike the mobile website, is now presented with three vertical banners: the left side is a static page while the two others to the right can be scrolled down. The banners include the CV database, the search engine and editorial content which represents 20% of traffic. Since half of job offers are viewed from mobile devices, the CV upload through tablets or smartphones is made easier for job seekers with this new version. The new home page is responsive for all devices but shows one single banner for smartphones and two banners for tablets.

Cadremploi offers thousands of qualified job offers every day and registers close to 15,000 recruiters. With our identity, our new design and media planning, we aim to affirm our positioning and inspire executives and managers to be mobile. The whole thing should reflect what our assets have been over the last 25 years namely reliability, expertise, energy and innovation”, states Thibaut Gemignani.
