Jobboard Finder’s opinion
Summary: Created in 2008 by Dridco, ZonaJobs belongs to Navent since it was sold in 2015. Navent owns many other websites, inlcuding Bumeran (the first Argentinian job board), ZonaProp and UniversoBit. It is a generalist job board in Argentina and it attracts 1.34 million visits a month (making it the third on the list of top job boards in Argentina)! The founder and current CEO of the group is Nicolás Tejerina; more information on the team and the timeline is available on the Navent website (but not on the ZonaJobs site). Even if there are no links, ZonaJobs is present on social media: 13 904 followers on Youtube (for about a hundred videos), 1 205 256 on Facebook, about 101 000 on Twitter and 72 877 Linkedin.
Design: ZonaJobs doesn’t mess around: you came for jobs and that’s what you’re going to get from the moment you enter the site. The search engine (keywords and the location) appears at the top of the page with job offers filling up the rest of the page (in a grid). You can even use the filters (the publication date, the level in the company, the location, the industry, the type of hours, handicap-friendly and the salary) on the homepage. Some companies are featured (but they aren’t all hiring). In the job listing, the offers appear in a list and display useful information (which also appears at the top of the offer when it is opened). You can sort them by relevance or newness. Some offers have logos and the disability-friendly jobs have a wheelchair icon. As for the company pages, some companies do have them. They include a PDF presentation page of the company and the current job offers (the PDF cannot be translated by Google Translate).
The job board objective: ZonaJobs (which menas “Jobs Zone”) aims to be the go-to place for hires and career changes.
Recruiter observations: To advertise, you need a fiscal number (CUIT), but you can create your advert through the site without contacting anyone if you have one. The prices are on the website. Recruiters can include additional questions for candidates.
Jobseeker observations: When applying to a job, you have to provide your salary expectations. If you create an account, you need to provide your desired job.
The job offers: There are 2 411 job offers. Most of the offers are junior positions but there are also many management positions. The popular industries are administration & accounting, sales and telecommunications.
Reactivity: --
Special features: The blog (most articles are years old); mobile-friendly site; the disability options; the job of the moment; the emphasis on the salary.
Verdict: ZonaJobs is definitely the jobs zone. If you’re advertising in Argentina, this job board is definitely a good choice for your job offers.
