Jobboard Finder’s opinion

Summary: JobsinMalta is a generalist job board in Malta managed by Integrated Talent Ventures, founded in 2014. The group also manages sites for payroll and salaries in the country. The traffic has been up and down over time; right now, it’s at around 96 010 visitors per month, with only half of them actually come from Malta. JobsinMalta has a decent following across different social media platforms: 404 followers on Instagram, 44 629 on Facebook, 5 121 on LinkedIn and 97 on Twitter.

Design: The website is particularly colourful. On the homepage, different aspects of the site are put into boxes: a box for the search engine (keywords, locations), a box for different categories, a box for the app, and boxes for featured jobs. You can also use the tax and net salary calculator, sign up for job alerts or discover the multi-posting. In the job listing, the filters appear on the left-hand side and they are category, level, type, region, publication date and other. When you select a category, sub categories appear. If the salary is provided it is visible in the job listing. Logo, publication dates and other key information is visible in the job listing. Job offers have a standard layout, with useful information at the top of the page.

The job board objective: JobsinMalta aims to offer low cost recruitment options for recruiters and easy-to-access job offers for jobseekers.

Recruiter observations: To create an account, a VAT number is required but you can also look for your company in a listing, which means you might not have to fill out the information.

Jobseeker observations: For some job offers, you don’t need an account but the site will ask for your e-mail address and suggest signing up for job alerts. Jobseekers can create an account with Facebook or an e-mail address.

The job offers: There are currently 656 job offers on the job site. Most of them are for fulltime positions and require experience.

Reactivity: The team answers quickly.

Verdict: JobsinMalta is a user-friendly job board for anyone looking to work in Malta or recruit there. The design is attractive, colourful and the salary information is always a plus for jobseekers as well as recruiters.
