With <a title=\"SEEK Commercial website\" href=\"http:\/\/www.seekcommercial.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SEEK Commercial<\/a>, SEEK Learning and <a title=\"SEEK Volunteer website\" href=\"https:\/\/volunteer.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SEEK Volunteer<\/a>, the company is \u201cnot just a job board but an <strong>online talent marketplace<\/strong> whereby we are delivering the best search and matching experience to candidates and hirers\u201d points out Chief Executive Andrew Bassat.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, 24% of job seekers said they got their last job from <a title=\"SEEK website\" href=\"http:\/\/www.seek.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SEEK<\/a>. Now the company wants to address the other 76% with their <strong>newly released product that allows hirers to search SEEK\u2019s growing talent database<\/strong>.\u00a0\u201cWe are calling it <strong>the premium or uncoupled talent search<\/strong>\u201d he explains.<\/p>\n<p>Before launch of the tailored product, hirers could search SEEK\u2019s profile database only linked to an advertisement. Now recruiters can access the premium talent search for an additional fee and ask candidates whether they would be interested in applying for a specific role. The database includes information such as where a person works and the kind of job they would consider.<\/p>\n<p>Chief Executive Andrew Bassat says they have\u00a0<strong>5 million profiles<\/strong> in total on their platform with 150,000 added monthly and 3.6 million fully searchable with\u00a0complete CVs\u00a0attached.\u00a0Tested by recruitment firms for 6 months, the offering\u00a0is now being used by corporate and government clients. Andrew Bassat reports\u00a0<strong>100% sign up from the trial customers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>With their <strong>new premium placements strategy<\/strong>, SEEK attacks a different part of the market and hopes to challenge LinkedIn and deliver a double-digit boost to revenues.\u00a0Previously\u00a0focused on the job advert market, SEEK wants to offer an alternative to traditional job
