You can make a list of the topics you would like to ask about in advance. However, if your questions are covered during the interview or you lack inspiration, here is a list of 8 questions to ask at the end of a job interview!<\/p>\n

You do not have to ask each and every one of the following questions but on average, the recommended amount is at least 2<\/strong>.\u00a0These will not only help you prove you have prepared and have done research and show you have genuine interest in the job<\/strong>. But they will also help you discover details about the position that may not appear in the job description.<\/p>\n

1. What is a normal day in this position like?<\/h2>\n

\"\"Learn what the day-to-day<\/strong> is like and see if you can envision yourself in the job<\/strong>. You will learn what tasks take up most time<\/strong> and what skills<\/strong> you might have to use.<\/p>\n

At the same time it will give you an idea of some of the new skills you might acquire <\/strong>and if you’d be happy doing that every day<\/p>\n

2. Could you tell me a bit about the company culture?<\/h2>\n

This is usually covered during the interview. <\/strong>However,\u00a0<\/strong>if this is not the case, don’t be afraid to ask! You want to know how the company is structured and how each department interacts with each other and therefore find out if you will fit in or not. Make sure the values mentioned appeal to you and meet your expectations<\/p>\n

Get to know your future colleagues<\/strong> without actually meeting them. This is the best the way of getting a good idea of how people interact with each other and structure their work within each department.<\/p>\n

3. What are some of the challenges I may face in this position?<\/h2>\n

Interviews focus on the candidates and asking your interviewee<\/strong> a more personal question will allow you to\u00a0engage<\/strong> and connect<\/strong> with them in a less professional way. You will be able to obtain first-hand experiences<\/strong> from someone within the organisation. Their reaction will give you a great insight<\/strong> into what working in the company is like and assess if you’d fit into it the company<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This is a great question as it shows interest in the company’s mission and vision<\/strong>. You’re not<\/strong> only<\/strong> thinking of your impact as an individual<\/strong>, but as a member of a team<\/strong> who wants to know how they will contribute to the future development<\/strong> of the organisation<\/strong>. As a candidate you can see if your vision of career path fits<\/strong> with the goals<\/strong> of the company.<\/p>\n

8. What are the next steps and when will I hear back?<\/h2>\n

You should leave this for the very end<\/strong>. This will show your employee you’re motivated and ready for the next step in the recruitment process. Knowing when they will get back to you will save you moments of stress, agony and continoulsy checking your phone.<\/strong> If you know they will get back to you in a couple of weeks, you can properly organise yourself and follow-up accordingly.<\/p>\n
