Even though it is only an <strong>aggregator<\/strong> available in the <strong>USA<\/strong> at the moment, we don\u2019t doubt that it will <strong>expend<\/strong> very quickly with the <strong>powerhouse<\/strong> that Google is. It is all the more surprising that it took that <strong>much time<\/strong> for Google to invest on the<strong> job market<\/strong>, because people were already typing on the search engine \u201cjobs in\u2026\u201d But now, thanks to a <strong>Cloud API<\/strong> and to the collaboration of many job boards, Google is ready to take advantage of its <strong>popularity<\/strong> and dominance to conquer another market. As we said earlier, they have added to the search engine a <strong>new job aggregator feature<\/strong>. With this feature, Google obviously wants to become the <strong>reference<\/strong> in job search that with them will be \u201c<strong>simpler and more efficient<\/strong>\u201d. They have indicated that they will aggregate the job offers of more than 20 job boards like <strong>Glassdoor, CareerBuilder, Monster or LinkedIn and even Facebook<\/strong>. The last two are the ones they are trying to <strong>compete<\/strong> with, according to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.latribune.fr\/technos-medias\/internet\/google-for-jobs-veut-concurrencer-linkedin-et-facebook-740906.html\">La Tribune<\/a>. You can type anything on Google like &#8220;<strong>Jobs around me<\/strong>&#8221; or &#8220;<strong>Retail jobs<\/strong>&#8221; and all the job offers will appear as if you were looking for something else on <strong>Google<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"attachment-post-thumbnail aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jobboardfinder.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/google-jobs-answer-min.png\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.jobboardfinder.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/google-jobs-answer-min.png 400w, https:\/\/www.jobboardfinder.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/google-jobs-answer-min-271x300.png 271w, https:\/\/www.jobboardfinder.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/google-jobs-answer-min-27x30.png 27w\" alt=\"google for jobs\" width=\"400\" height=\"443\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Their system will be able to <strong>redirect<\/strong> the candidates to the job board which <strong>first<\/strong> posted the offer. According to Google\u2019s team, it will help candidates <strong>save precious time<\/strong>, especially with the <strong>email alerts<\/strong> job seekers can receive. And this is pretty <strong>innovative<\/strong>, as these email alerts are based on the candidates\u2019 <strong>set criteria,<\/strong> like <strong>publication date<\/strong> or their <strong>journey time<\/strong> to the company. After comparing with the feature \u201cRestaurants around me\u201d, they thought that <strong>data location<\/strong> or <strong>similar searches<\/strong> could definitely be used for <strong>job search<\/strong>. Google is pretty clear, they have started studying and using <strong>search algorithms<\/strong> in order to find only the best job. This is completely <strong>disrupting<\/strong> the recruiting market, according to an article of <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/joshbersin.com\/2017\/05\/google-for-jobs-disrupting-the-recruiting-market\/\">Josh Bersin<\/a><\/strong>: \u201cTheir experimental work with early customers has been fairly <strong>amazing<\/strong>: one client found that searches for \u201cgenetic engineering research\u201d jobs <strong>barely surfaced<\/strong> a single job before using the <strong>Google technology<\/strong>; after using the Google search the perfect job <strong>popped up in the first page<\/strong>.
