For job seekers, Glassdoor Trends<\/a> may become a new way of observing competition to build a more effective strategy. While the tool allows candidates to find out which jobs and companies are the most popular in their country, city or industry, it can also work as a reminder to research a job and company before applying to or accepting a job offer.<\/p>\n

For employers, Glassdoor Trends means\u00a0their\u00a0company may get increased exposure via Glassdoor<\/strong> after featuring in the news for the launch of a new product for example. More generally, they can\u00a0find out how their company impacts job seeker activity.<\/p>\n

\u201cJob seekers often feel in the dark when it comes to how much competition is in the job market. Glassdoor Trends offers valuable insights into which jobs and companies are in-demand, and it provides powerful reminders to research a company before applying to or accepting a job so as to understand why a company may trend,\u201d said Ehren Reilly, Glassdoor product director. \u201cGlassdoor Trends also allows employers to better assess demand for their company, their competitors and their jobs, and lets them see how changes to their brand awareness and reputation can impact their recruiting funnel.\u201d<\/p>\n
